About us
The Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) has been caring for the Broome community for over 45 years. As the first remote Aboriginal Medical Service in Western Australia, BRAMS delivers culturally responsive health care, social and emotional wellbeing services, and NDIS support to over 6,500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people annually.
We’ve recently expanded our aged care programs and are building a dynamic team dedicated to delivering person-centred, rewarding work. BRAMS provides a supportive environment with training, external supervision, and professional development opportunities.
consumers of BRAMS’ aged care and disability services. You’ll help consumers understand their NDIS plans and/or aged care packages, set goals, and connect with suitable support services.
This role offers the chance to work in a multidisciplinary team, make meaningful contributions to Aboriginal communities, and grow professionally in a rewarding environment.
About you
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated professional with:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience in aged care or disability services is not essential—we provide on-the-job training and ongoing professional development to support your success.
