About Us

The Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) has been a vital part of the Broome community for over 45 years. As Western Australia’s first remote Aboriginal Medical Service, BRAMS is committed to delivering culturally responsive healthcare and community services that meet the unique needs of Aboriginal people.

BRAMS operates a busy primary healthcare clinic with a large multidisciplinary team, including General Practitioners, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Nurses, and Allied Health professionals. Together, we provide holistic, community-focused care aimed at improving health outcomes for Aboriginal people in the Kimberley region.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Recall Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of quality care through effective management of our Clinical Recall System. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and managing patient recall processes to ensure timely follow-up of appointments, screenings, and test results.
  • Supporting General Practitioners and clinical staff in maintaining compliance with patient recall processes.
  • Monitoring and improving recall workflows to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.
  • Engaging with patients to provide education and support regarding follow-up care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to BRAMS’ quality care standards.

This role is central to our commitment to proactive and preventative healthcare.About You

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration. You will have:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse patients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in clinical recall management or similar roles is highly regarded but not essential.
  • A passion for improving health outcomes, particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
