About us
The Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) has been providing culturally responsive care to the Broome community for over 45 years. We deliver holistic primary health care, social and emotional wellbeing services, and NDIS support to over 6,500 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people annually.

About the role
We’re looking for a passionate RHD Health Promotion Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in improving health outcomes for Aboriginal communities by leading health promotion campaigns focused on Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) and Acute Rheumatic Fever (ARF).

Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll collaborate with community members, health professionals, and stakeholders to deliver culturally safe programs that make a real difference.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in health promotion (preferred).
  • A commitment to culturally responsive community health care.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care is preferred but not essential.
